Care Instructions
Linen is the hardest-wearing natural fiber known to man—it's naturally antibacterial, moth-resistant, and exceptionally easy to care for. Wash using a mild detergent without brightening agents, such as bleach. If you need to brighten light linens, put them out in the sun. White and natural color linen pieces can be washed up to 90 degrees Farenheight (32 degrees Celsius). Linen naturally softens with each wash, but high heat can weaken the fibers over time. It is best to wash on the lowest machine temperature setting and use the maximum water/soak level. For (liquid) stains, create a solution of baking soda and white vinegar, then blot the stain with a paper towel (do not scrub, as this will rub the stain deeper). Avoid tumble drying at all costs, as it can cause unnecessary shrinkage. While damp, iron the linen, then lay it flat or hang it to dry (linen is strongest when wet, so always dampen it when ironing). Store your linen in a cool, dry place with plenty of airflow. Avoid storing in plastic, as it can cause yellowing.
